Approved hotels
Definition
Hotels have "tourism" rating or approval by a Prefecture-level ruling after the departmental commission for tourism action has deliberated. They are rated in six categories, from 0 stars to 5 stars, according to their comfort, to their equipment and to their services. The criteria of classification are strict and were defined by a decree of February 14th, 1986. To be qualified as "tourist hotel", a hotel establishment has to contain at least 5 rooms.
