Monthly Guaranteed Wage

Definition

The Monthly Guaranteed Wage (GMR) was introduced at the time of the switch to the 35-hour working week. It allows employees earning the minimum wage whose working hours have been reduced to maintain their former wage. The Monthly Guaranteed Wage is calculated on the basis of the value of the hourly minimum wage at the time when the company switched to the 35-hour week.
