Definition

Exports are the sales declared by the enterprises in the sector as being exports (meaning outside the country of residence) and including intra-Community supply. The data collected and published on exports comes from the annual business survey. They are broken down by sector of activity and by branch.

Note

The exports measured here are different from those measured by Customs, in that they correspond solely to direct exports by companies. Customs statistics can also be broken down by product.
