Annual Business Survey / EAE
Definition
The Annual Business Survey (EAE) is conducted each year on a sample of companies :
- in the manufacturing industry by the Office of Industrial Studies and Statistics (SESSI) ;
- in the agrifood industries by the Office of Statistics and Forecasting (SSP) ;
- in transport and construction by the Office of Economics, Statistics and Forecasting (SESP) ;
- in commerce and other non-financial services by the INSEE.
The SESSI and SSP limit the scope of their surveys to companies with 20 employees or more and turnover of more than € 5 million.
