Survey of information and communication technologies use in households

Definition

The survey of information and communication technology (ICT) use in households allows us to gather information on the information and communication technologies (computers, internet, telephones) present in households and the way in which people use these technologies. The ICT survey also touches upon how often people use online shopping services, and the use of online administrative services.
The survey is conducted every year by telephone, on a sample of around 7,000 households in metropolitan France and the overseas departments (DOM).
