Definition

Carried out by INSEE every year on operators of landline and mobile telephone services and internet service providers, the survey of telecommunication services allows us to observe the consumer behaviour of households. This information is used to measure the monthly price trends in the telecommunications services on offer to households.

The telecommunication services price index is published within the framework of the consumer price index (CPI).
