Survey on retail networks 2005-2006

Definition

Conducted by INSEE, the survey on retail networks dealing with the years 2005 and 2006 aims to estimate the number of businesses and the activity of independent shops organised into brand networks.

This survey allows us to assess the extent, organisation and characteristics of the networks, as well as the number of retail outlets in France.

The survey is conducted in metropolitan France on businesses which include at least 7 establishments in the principal sectors of retail shops (not including pharmacies) and commercial handicrafts.
