Conducted at irregular intervals in partnership with the National Institute for Demographic Studies, the aim of the survey on family and intergenerational relationships is to better understand recent demographic developments and their social implications, by carrying out comparisons between countries.
Conducted in three successive waves at intervals of three years (2005, 2008 and 2011) on around 10,000 individuals in metropolitan France, this survey also allows us to study developments which are likely to alter the relationships we form within families, between partners and generations.
