Rent and charges survey

Definition

The rent and charges survey allows us to measure the quarterly changes to rent levels, a component of the general consumer price index. It also provides information for the housing accounts, established by the Ministry for the Environment, Energy, Sustainable Development and Land Planning.
The survey has been conducted by INSEE since 1958 throughout metropolitan France.
