Definition

The survey of guest numbers in other forms of collective tourist accommodation allows for short-term observation of the number of visitors to youth hostels, international holiday centres, sports centres, tourist residences, hotel residences, family houses or holiday villages.

Conducted at the national level since 2009, this survey is carried out on a sample of 2,400 establishments throughout France, and aims to establish indicators of occupancy rate, average duration of stay and geographical origin of clientele.
