Definition

The goal of the survey on industrial energy consumption is to measure energy consumption by value and by volume. The topics covered by the survey touch upon the consumption of different types of energy, purchase prices, the energy intensity of different sectors, the use of different energy types etc.

This survey is conducted every year with around 12,000 establishments in metropolitan France and the overseas departments.
