Definition

The survey of spatial comparison of consumer price levels between territories aims at comparing price levels between metropolitan France and four French overseas departments : Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyane and La Réunion, as well as between metropolitan France and Corsica.
This punctual survey is realized by a collection about 3 in 5 000 valuable statements with various selling points in every French overseas departments, 8 000 in Corsica and 5 000 in mainland France (as a supplement to the statements of the consumer price index - CPI).
