Definition

The monthly workforce movement report is an administrative formality which must be provided by establishments in the public or private sectors employing fifty or more workers. It concerns the number of employees working for the company at the start and end of the month. Information is requested on anybody joining or leaving the company over the course of the month (sex, age etc.), their professional characteristics and the nature of the movement (nature of the recruitment, reason for employee leaving etc.).
These declarations allow for monthly, quarterly and annual monitoring of the workforce movements arising from recruitment and departure of staff from these establishments in metropolitan France. Moreover, specific annual analyses allow us to better understand these phenomena of workforce mobility.
