Definition

INSEE publishes a monthly set of indicators allowing observers to follow the progress of new business start-ups. The statistics are provided by SIRENE, the Computerised System of the National Register of Enterprises and Establishments. The raw data is seasonally adjusted and calendar-effect adjusted (business-day adjustment).

Note

The set of business start-ups covers all the trade activities except agriculture.
