Creations of establishments
Definition
Monthly statistics concerning creations of establishments are formed on the basis of information from the register of companies and establishments (REE-Sirene). Since 1 January 2007, the notion of creations of establishments, in keeping with the notion of enterprise birth which is based on a harmonised concept at the European level to facilitate comparisons, corresponds to the implementation of new means of production.
Note
Since January 1st, 2007, the statistics of creations of establishments covers all the trade activities except agriculture.
