International standard industrial classification of all economic activities / ISIC

Definition

The United Nations' International standard industrial classification of all economic activities (ISIC rev. 3.1) is a standard classification of all productive economic activities. Its primary goal is to offer various activity categories that may be used for statistical analysis. The version currently in use is ISIC ver. 4.

The NACE and the NAF are European and French versions of the ISIC.
