Analysis by production

Definition

This is a type of economic analysis that is essentially interested in the unit of homogenous production (UHP) or the homogenous branch. However, the UHP is not generally an appropriate unit for observation, insofar as it is a statistical construction. In general, totals per product themselves can be obtained only by processing at the individual unit level.
