Definition

In the sense of the Statistics and Forecasting Department (SSP) of the Ministry of Agriculture, the notion of agricultural workers includes all individuals who work on a farm, both full time and part time.

The "permanent population" includes far managers and co-managers (considered as contributing at least in terms of management), home helps (family members of farm managers) and permanent employees (not family members of farm managers, who perform regular work throughout the year, regardless of length of time). The non-permanent population includes seasonal and casual employees.
