In addition to access of adults to training and the characteristics of the training undertaken, other topics are surveyed, including the sources of information, the obstacles met, the professional context for the training, the balance between training and work and the short-term profits expected by participants.

The survey also includes activities undertaken in order to form or increase their knowledge (informal learning), but without any intervention of a trainer.
